Our Story
CR Ranch & Equestrian Center is proudly owned and operated by Richard and Christy Schlough and is located in Reedsburg, Wisconsin. Established in 2017, the vision behind CR Ranch was to create a thoughtfully designed facility that balances comfort, safety, and functionality for both horses and riders.
The facility is maintained with close attention to detail, keeping barns, arenas, and common areas clean, safe, and functional for both daily riding and hosted events.
Meet the Owners
Drawing from their combined experience across multiple riding disciplines, CR Ranch & Equestrian Center was shaped into a versatile, rider-focused facility by owners Richard and Christy Schlough.
- Richard’s background in Western riding influenced the design of the arenas, footing, and overall layout, to support practical horsemanship, training, and performance-based events.
- Christy brings an English and Equestrian riding perspective, with an emphasis on horse comfort, cleanliness, and balanced training environments reflected throughout the facility.
Together, their complementary backgrounds allow CR Ranch to welcome both Western and English disciplines and riders of all experience levels.
